Yet More Databases

Varney the Vampire YET MORE DATABASES

One obvious picture library that I seemed to have missed from my Links page is the Museum of London Images collection. Particularly useful whilst the Museum's Victorian section is closed for refurbishment. Left, for your delectation, Varney the Vampire!

  1. The Museum of London is a very a good place to find old London photos, however the London Library has some quality photo's too.

  2. Thanks for the big-up! Don't forget the PhotoLondon website too (www.photolondon.org.uk) which is a partnership between us and several other London institutions. The main thing there at present is a biographical database of Victorial photographic London, with about 10,000 people and companies in it. Very few photos, but tons of info.
    Cheers, Jeremy (MOL web developer)
